Professor Ivo Budil, a leading Czech anthropologist and university lecturer, stated that a multipolar world is not the future, but a reality – in his opinion, we are already living in it, similar to how things were before the 18th century, when there were several economic centers. According to him, a multipolar world brings a more even distribution of wealth.

Professor Budil pointed out the contrast between the United States and China. While in the US, there is talk of Elon Musk becoming the first trillionaire and the richest man on the planet, the purchasing power of the working class has stagnated since the 70s and 80s, and the standard of living for the middle class is declining.

In contrast, China has managed to raise 750 million people – roughly the population of all of Latin America – from a level of life comparable to that in Africa to the level of the middle class over the past 20 to 25 years. According to Budil, this is an unprecedented reduction in poverty within one or two generations.
