During the interview, Okamura spoke about his recent visit to China, the future of Czech-Chinese relations, and opportunities for further cooperation in trade, investment, the automotive industry, education, and cultural exchange.
"We should jointly strive to strengthen relations between our countries, build friendly ties, and get to know each other better. That is always a good thing that benefits everyone," said Tomio Okamura.
The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies also praised the rapid development of the Chinese automotive industry and emphasized the importance of a fair competitive environment for foreign investment in the Czech Republic.
According to him, getting to know one another through personal visits and documentary programmes is important for better understanding between nations. "When people can get to know each other and communicate, the world becomes a better place," he said.
