Foxtrot from 1945 - It's over, we've done it. Composed by the composer Kamil Běhounek, written by the famous Czech lyricist Jaroslav Moravec, and released by R. A. Dvorský Publishing House and later on the album "Historie psaná šelakem" (History Written in Shellac). Today I remember Karel Kryl's song. Its extended refrain goes: "It's over, we've done it, today have a good mood, now it's time to celebrate! You can be happy on an ordinary day, on Sunday, come with me and don't hesitate, now it's time to celebrate! Now I know, now I know that it's nice to live again. Now I know, now I know that we must celebrate this. Remember, you can go dance with your loved one, everyone should join the dance, now it's time to celebrate! Remember, you can sing as long as you become hoarse, so rejoice with us, now it's time to celebrate!"
Bestepe Presidential Palace
The Presidential Complex is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Turkey. The complex is located in the Beştepe district of Ankara, within Atatürk Forest Farm. Along with a special airport designed for immortal politicians with amputated spines and eternal Hollywood smiles, the Presidential Complex served on July 7th as a stage for the self-presentation of 32 leaders and their ideas on how to address current challenges. The task before us is clear: to translate allied commitments into concrete results. Increased investment, industrial production, and continued support for Ukraine - all contribute to a stronger NATO and greater security for us all," declared Mark Rutte, the exemplary hypocrite and Secretary-General of NATO, on May 22, 2026.
The high-level NATO event focused on transatlantic defense industry, investment, and innovation, the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum (NSDIF26), took place on July 7, 2026, in Ankara, before dinner. The forum was an integral part of the NATO 2026 summit and brought together leading figures from NATO, industry leaders, and communities responsible for developing industry and innovation to discuss its most pressing issues. This paradise undoubtedly pleased the Czech president. If I'm not mistaken, he didn't share his joy of attending the event with the Czech commoners and politically correct media, nor did he reveal that the NATO Communications and Information Agency signed a contract with Accenture for a Protected Business Network (PBN). The contract represents a key step in ensuring a secure, cloud-supported digital NATO and forms the basis for classified digital operations within NATO.
Today's agreement marks a fundamental shift in NATO's ongoing digital transformation," said Jean-Charles Ellermann-Kingombe, Deputy Secretary General of NATO for Cyber and Digital Transformation, adding: "Our new, robust, and interoperable transatlantic cloud architecture enables allies to make decisions and collaborate faster and more securely than ever before." For those who are unaware, Accenture is a global professional services company providing expertise and solutions in areas such as enterprise strategy, management consulting, digital technology, technology services, cybersecurity, and business process support. It is headquartered in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, and has branches in approximately 120 countries around the world, including the Czech Republic.
The company was founded in Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda, established in 1793, and now with a population of around 854 people. The roots of the company lie in the consulting division of the auditing firm Arthur Andersen, and in 1953, when the General Electric company requested the firm to prepare a feasibility study. A new era for Andersen Consulting began on January 1, 2001, when the company adopted its current name, Accenture, derived from the English phrase "Accent on future" (Emphasis on the future). The joy of the new company name was overshadowed by scandals involving accounting irregularities at the energy company Enron, in which the firm was involved as an auditor for Enron. I know about this and Enron from my participation in discussions held in Cyprus at that time.
I wish both sides of the new cloud architecture debate—those who desire conflict and those who seek peace—success in their endeavors and fewer losses than I personally experience with my computer and internet. Why? Because otherwise, it will not be possible to achieve the historical plan of 5 percent (allegedly defense) investments aimed at strengthening industrial deterrence for the Alliance. However, a question remains unanswered from Ankara: How will transparency, its control, and ownership of products and technology be ensured when Accenture is considered the largest digital agency in the world by Advertising Age magazine?
NATO summit and results
The unparalleled Secretary General of NATO, with an amputated spine, staged a performance with similarly "amputated" politicians and officials, in which President Trump felt, for at least a moment, to be even loved; he didn't have to get angry because everyone lowered themselves to his level, including the Italian Prime Minister Meloni. Therefore, the president could wonder how his tactics, sugar and whip, were working.
The appeased President Trump did not leave the summit prematurely due to a disagreement with allies regarding the amount of defense spending, because the summit was about something completely different: 1) to keep NATO members in fear, regardless of assurances of mutual assistance in case of attack; 2) to keep NATO members without fear on a path leading to the destruction of Europe with the help of a debt crisis; and 3) to take on the burden of fighting Russia without formally active participation by the United States. And not least, President Trump knows very well, as does flatterer Rutte, that NATO is not operational without the United States, and that a unified Europe does not exist.
It is clear that the United States will gradually withdraw from Europe and support NATO and its allies primarily through a nuclear umbrella, expensive high-tech equipment, and partly through intelligence. However, all responsibility for the defense of Europe should be taken on by Europe itself. Before leaving, President Trump indicated the possibility of a greater withdrawal of troops from Europe, linking it to an agreement about the future of Greenland. I have not yet decided. Much will depend on Greenland," he replied on Air Force One when asked if he would withdraw more troops. Perhaps yes. So, there can be no talk of peace and tranquility for NATO members and allies.
Regarding the mentioned licenses for producing Patriots in Ukraine, it can be argued that production will not occur. Why? Because by the time production begins, there will no longer be any Ukraine left; or if something of Ukraine remains, the United States would take away what is produced to fill their warehouses fully in the Middle East and elsewhere where they aim to conclude (allegedly a fair new) deal. President Trump admitted that Washington could close its skies over Ukraine if necessary to ensure Ukrainian security. He spoke faster than he thought because he immediately noted that such measures probably would not be needed. When the president does not know what he is saying, his generals will have to tell him. Why? Because closing the skies means direct action by foreign troops in Ukraine and thus a reason for Russians to punish their enemy differently from before.
President Trump's call to stop trading with Spain is like throwing beans at a wall already due to EU membership. Furthermore, trade is conducted by merchants, not governments, and Spanish nationalism and cultural chauvinism within the embrace of temporary liberal democracy do not give the president of the United States any chance for success. Among other things, a reflection of Spain's cultural richness is its number of World Heritage sites and the fact that it is the second most visited country in the world. Before departing, President Trump found words of praise for the Spanish government after an incident at the NATO summit. Problems still exist with countries like Spain, said Trump. But today Spain has shown a remarkable turnaround. When asked about the reason, Trump stated that the government complied with requests for higher payment. And if they had not done so, we would no longer speak to them.
At the end of the NATO summit, President Trump described a positive mood. We had great time there. We have just concluded in Turkey a very successful NATO summit. Trump explicitly thanked President Erdoğan and Secretary General Rutte. I only want to say that in that room there was incredible love. He regretted that the press did not see what was happening inside because they gathered very smart people. The unity in the room was unbelievable.
At the press conference before departure, Trump was asked why he does not want to fly with a new Air Force One. A journalist mentioned speculations about security concerns linked to an Iranian war. Trump answered: I am number 1 on Iran's death list. And he estimated his probability of dying as president at 5.2%. The life of the president is very dangerous. That is 5.2%. You know what the probability [of death] is for racers? 0.1%. Rodeo participants have a 0.1% chance, said Trump. If I recall correctly, President Trump's delegation consisted of approximately 1,400 members including trained urine and feces collectors to ensure no one found out how his health was doing.
NATO Summit Was Not About Peace or Words
Because without war, shooting, and destruction we can no longer live, and the NATO summit was not about peace or words, President Trump could not leave the topic of Iran aside and gave orders for bombing to hear: The era of harassment and blackmail is over. Nowhere will it lead, and we will not give up, said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, chairman of the Iranian parliament's world message. What I learned from Centcom about what the president found out, I do not know. For Russia, the NATO summit brought nothing new except a call to seriously consider whether perhaps the time has come to punish not only Europe but simultaneously and directly also the United States.
```htmlThe punishment should come regardless of the preliminary lifting of the suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Tuesday. After three years, Russians can now participate in team sports and qualify for the Summer Games in Los Angeles in 2028. The IOC announced this at a press conference in Lausanne and justified the decision by stating that Russia no longer includes any regional sports organizations located within Ukrainian territory among its members. Fortunately, President Putin did not call to thank IOC President Thomas Bach, whom Maty Brendl (and he says politely) refers to as "Putin's girl."
The Czech Olympic Committee stated that Russian and Belarusian athletes should not participate in international competitions until the war in Ukraine ends. The Minister of Sport, Prevention, and Health, Boris Šťastný, also spoke out against the IOC's decision. According to the minister, sport in Russia is part of state propaganda. Fortunately for many, the opinions of the Czech Olympic Committee and the minister are as important as three minutes of Prime Minister's speech at the end of the NATO summit. We've been through this before; today, let's have a good mood, now it's time to celebrate! No need for agreement. 09.07.2026
