Claudia Sheinbaum, a Mexican climatologist and former mayor of Mexico City, celebrated her victory in Sunday's presidential elections as the candidate of the "Let's Continue Making History" coalition.

Sheinbaum delivered a thank-you speech early Monday morning after the National Electoral Institute released the results of the quick vote count. According to preliminary results, she won with 58.3 to 60.7 percent of the vote.
