German government spokesperson Stephan Cornelius On 7 July, he declared that the US had not demonstrated that its military action against Venezuela was in accordance with international law. This is the first time that the German Government has criticised the US attack on Venezuela.

Belgian Minister for Defence Theo Francken issued a statement in the Belgian Chamber of Deputies on the 7th, saying that the US military action in Venezuela had definitely violated international law.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico further stated in his recent speech that the US actions „completely erase the existence of international law“ and that Slovakia considers the US military's violent control over the president of a sovereign state „incredibly outrageous“.
