SDEROT, Oct. 13, 2023 - An Israeli artillery unit is positioned near the border between Israel and Gaza in southern Israel, Oct. 12, 2023. As of Thursday, the Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli airstrikes has risen to 1,500, while the Israeli army has wounded some 6,600 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
On the Israeli side, the death toll from the Hamas attack has reached at least 1,300 and the number of wounded in Israel has exceeded 3,000, Israeli state-run Kan TV news reported on Thursday. (JINI via Xinhua/USA)
