According to a report from the Chinese Academy of Sciences on March 26, the Solar Wind Magnetosphere Interaction and Exploration (SMILE) satellite, a joint project between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the European Space Agency (ESA), has completed all preparations for its launch at the Kourou Space Center in French Guiana.

The satellite has already been attached to the Vega-C launch vehicle adapter, and the launch is scheduled for April 9th (April 9th, Beijing time). The mission is entering the final countdown phase before launch.
