China's robotics industry is experiencing rapid growth and with it comes a new application - robotic nannies. These "smarter" machines can not only clean, but also provide companionship and even help with teaching.

China's industrial robots output rose by 35,5 % to almost 69 thousand units, while for service robots it was an increase of 13.8 % for more than 1.2 million units. Manufacturers are now targeting homes, nursing homes and retail spaces where robotic nannies are expanding their use.
