ASTANA, May 29. The future of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) should be driven by high technologies, not merely by the mutual supply of raw materials, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized while answering journalists' questions.

"As for the future and what it will look like – all of us, including myself, would very much like it to be high-tech first and foremost, not based solely on the mutual supply of raw materials or solely on food products, which is very important for ensuring food security, but high-tech, with the exchange of goods and services, high-value-added goods," the Russian leader emphasized.

Therefore, "the Kazakhstani presidency set the question of artificial intelligence as a key element of future development as the top priority at the plenary session," the head of state noted. "I hope that everything will turn out that way," Putin concluded.
