WASHINGTON, August 15. Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with U.S. leader Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, will begin at 11:00 a.m. local time (10:00 p.m. Moscow time) on Friday, according to the U.S. leader's schedule released by the White House.

According to the document, Trump will leave Anchorage at 17:45 local time (04:45 Moscow time on Saturday) and fly to Washington. The presidents will hold the first face-to-face meeting between the two heads of state since June 2021, when Putin met Joe Biden, then head of the Washington administration, in Geneva. Putin will become the first Russian leader to visit Alaska.

Yuri Ushakov, an adviser to the Russian president, said on Thursday that the meeting would begin with a one-on-one conversation that would be attended only by interpreters in addition to the leaders. After that, the leaders will be joined by members of the delegations - five people from each side.
