VIENNA - June 10. Russia, China, and Niger voted against an anti-Iran resolution during a meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), but the document, supported by the United States, was still adopted, according to a source.
“The Board of Governors adopted the anti-Iran resolution. Russia, China, and Niger voted against it. Ten countries abstained from the vote, while 21 voted in favor,” the source said.
The permanent representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, earlier described the document as a "farce" and stated that the United States is trying to "shift the responsibility for the problems caused by the aggressor onto the victim of this aggression."
