"U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) concluded the evening wave of strikes against Iran at 9:00 PM ET on July 15 (July 16 at 4:00 AM Moscow time - TASS). U.S. forces targeted Iranian command and control centers, air defense systems, missile and drone positions, as well as coastal observation posts," the command stated in a statement on the social media platform X.

According to CENTCOM, the U.S. military used precision-guided munitions, and the attacks included the city of Bandar Abbas.
