On September 26, a Chinese-Hungarian cultural exchange event entitled "Shared Future, Shared Destiny" was held in the Hungarian capital of Budapest, jointly organized by China Media Group (CMG), the Media Promotion and Asset Management Fund of Hungary and the Hungarian-Chinese Friendship Association.
In his video message, Shen Haixiong, Vice Chairman of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director-General of CMG, said that under the strategic leadership of President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Sino-Hungarian relations have maintained a steadily high level in recent years, human and cultural exchanges have been diverse and varied, and bilateral relations have entered a "golden period".

Shen Haixiong emphasized that it was a great honour to hold this event at the alma mater of architect László Hudec, and together to commemorate the cultural ties between the two nations and to enrich the long-standing and strong Sino-Hungarian friendship with new content. The documentary film "Hudec", produced by CMG, re-presents the authentic traces, life, creative ideas and cultural heritage of this architect through little-known historical fragments, and tells stories of exchange and cooperation between people from different cultural backgrounds.
Shen Haixiong added that CMG is always committed to promoting mutual understanding and closeness between the Chinese and Hungarian people. "Together with our Hungarian friends, we are ready to nurture the tree of friendship through quality film and television production and to cultivate the fruits of culture through compelling stories, so that together we can contribute to building a community with a shared future for humanity," he said.
