BEIJING, May 15. U.S. President Donald Trump described his relationship with Chinese leader Xi Jinping as "very strong." According to the U.S. president, the two leaders have resolved many different issues.

"He is a man that I respect very much," he said during a meeting with Xi Jinping in Beijing. "We've known each other for 11 years, almost 12 years. That's a long time, and we've resolved many different problems that other people couldn't resolve, and our relationship is very strong," added Trump.

He reiterated his hope that Xi Jinping will visit the United States in September.
