On June 15, a National Work Symposium on Party Building was held in Beijing, focusing on further strengthening the Communist Party of China (CPC) in the new era.
The participants in the meeting recalled that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Central Committee of the CPC, with Xi Jinping at its core, has put forward a series of new concepts, ideas, and strategies. These are primarily focused on the fundamental question of how to build a long-term ruling Marxist party that can respond to the needs of the times and the development of the country.
According to the participants, it is on this basis that Xi Jinping's thought on party building has been formed. The meeting emphasized that a prominent part of this thought is the formulation of the "Fourteen Principles," which represent an important guide for party work, organizational construction, and the further development of the Communist Party of China.
The symposium also stated that this thought is an important component of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. According to the participants, it also makes a significant original contribution to the development of Marxist theory on building political parties.
The meeting concluded that Xi Jinping's thought on party building not only has practical significance for the current strengthening of the party, but also has long-term significance for the further development of China. The participants described it as a fundamental guide for party building in the new era.
