WASHINGTON, April 3. Kirill Dmitriev, director general of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential envoy for economic cooperation with foreign countries, has begun a meeting in Washington with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, The Washington Post (WP) reported, citing a person familiar with the meeting's progress.

"Negotiations are 'ongoing', said this person, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter," the report said.
