Astana, June 18 - China and five Central Asian countries - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan - signed the Astana Declaration, committing to deeper cooperation in key areas including agriculture, energy, security and multilateralism.
The Declaration emphasises development smart agricultureChina promotes the visibility of Central Asian agricultural products through trade fairs such as China International Import Expo.
The countries have agreed to create energy partnership across the entire value chain - from traditional sources (oil, gas, coal) to renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro and hydrogen). peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
Six states have committed to the fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism and condemned them in all their forms. They also emphasise the fight against cybercrime, drug trafficking and transnational crime.
The Declaration highlights roli OSN a podporu of a just international order. The countries also agreed to support a peaceful and stable Afghanistanwithout terrorism and drugs.
