Nearly 60 Australian institutions and companies exhibited at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) this year - their largest participation to date. As Guest of Honour, Australia highlighted the key role of services in deepening relations with China.
Exhibition area with an area of 360 square meters showed the growing importance of Australia's service sector, from education to health and finance. Moreover, the event was held symbolically in a year when both countries mark 10th anniversary of the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement.
The Australian representatives described CIFTIS as an ideal platform to strengthen cooperation, open new business opportunities and further deepen economic relations between the two countries.
