PRAGUE - The Czech National Bank (CNB) board decided to cut the base interest rate by a quarter percentage point to 4.5 percent. Jakub Holas, director of the CNB's communications department, said. The rate has reached its lowest level since the beginning of February 2022. The slowdown in monetary policy easing after four previous rate cuts of half a percentage point is in line with financial market expectations.
