Ivan Cinka, former chairman of the transport committee of the Central Bohemian Region and now a committee member for the Stačilo! coalition, praised the speech of Chinese President Xi Jinping at the artificial intelligence conference in Shanghai.
According to him, the President raised two key questions: How to ensure the safety of AI in decision-making? And how to ensure access to it for everyone amid deepening global inequalities?
According to Xi Jinping, the solution lies in openness, cooperation, strengthening risk awareness and improving global governance. China will provide 5,000 AI training programmes to developing countries, establish international centres with key regional organisations, and enable 30 countries to use an AI meteorological warning system.
Cinka stated that he senses an awareness of responsibility and a call for global cooperation in the speech. He hopes it will be heeded.
