Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China, urged senior Party officials to ensure a good start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period from 2026-2030.

Xi Jinping made the remarks after studying the annual work reports of senior Party officials that were recently submitted to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and to him personally.

These leaders included members of the Politburo and Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, members of the leading Party groups of the Standing Committee of the All-China People's Congress, the State Council and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, as well as secretaries of the leading Party groups of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

Xi Jinping urged the leaders to always be united with the central Party leadership in thought, political stance and practical actions, and take concrete measures to fully implement his decisions and plans.

He said they should take initiative in carrying out their duties and consistently implement the eight-point decision of the Party's central leadership aimed at improving the working style, including detailed rules for its implementation.

Xi Jinping also urged them to lead by example in promoting a correct view of governance results and strive to achieve concrete benefits for the people through honest and dedicated work.

He also stressed the need to strive to create a clean and honest political environment.
