China is entering the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The key issue, according to Xi Jinping, is how to proceed step by step so that the country can make decisive progress on the road to the basic realization of socialist modernization.
The Secretary-General stressed the need to develop and consistently apply the right perspective on performance evaluation. According to him, it is necessary to be based on reality, to respect the laws of development and to strive for concrete results that will benefit the people.
