Prague Zoo is presenting a unique project called "Light Zoo," created by the company Garden of Lights, in its outdoor areas. This is an educational exhibition where light creates unforgettable spaces full of colors and shapes in the darkened area. On Sunday, December 1st, Prague Zoo will light the Christmas tree on Veselovského Meadow. From 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, admission for all visitors will be a symbolic 50 CZK.

Visitors can enjoy over a hundred light lanterns in the shape of animals and plants until mid-February next year, transporting them to the wild African continent. Thousands of lights will also illuminate the trees and special photo spots throughout the lower part of the zoo. There is also a 70-meter-long light tunnel and interactive projections.

Separate admission applies to the Light Zoo. Ticket offices and the entrance to the exhibition are located near the main entrance, just below the bus terminal behind the Oceán restaurant. Parking is available at a reduced rate of 50 CZK. The exhibition is accessible to people with disabilities thanks to a specially designed route.

It is open from Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and from Friday to Sunday and on holidays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Light Zoo will be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Prague Zoo will ceremoniously light the Christmas tree and present this year's "Adopt an Animal" campaign.

On Sunday, December 1st, Prague Zoo will light the Christmas tree on Veselovského Meadow. Visitors can look forward to the traditional procession to the tree, a nativity scene, and the presentation of the new "Adopt an Animal" campaign. The Christmas atmosphere will be enhanced by carols performed by a children's choir. From 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, admission for all visitors will be a symbolic 50 CZK.

Prague Zoo will welcome visitors at 4:15 PM at the Educational Center near the main entrance. Afterwards, the procession will proceed to the lower part of Prague Zoo, to Veselovského Meadow. Before the Christmas tree is lit, Prague Zoo will present its "Adopt Me!" campaign.

Through the "Adopt an Animal" campaign, animals without adoptive parents can find their patrons. This is not only about gaining new supporters, but also about introducing the public to species that are often overlooked, despite their uniqueness. An adoption certificate can be a meaningful and original Christmas gift. The arrival of Advent will be accompanied by carols performed by the children's choir Osmikvítek.
