He also emphasized that this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

"Eighty years ago, under the banner of the National United Front Against Japan, founded and led by the Communist Party of China, the Chinese people resolutely and bravely fought. With the mutual support of forces for justice around the world, the Chinese people achieved victory over fascism. Remembering the past is a lesson for the future. History is the best textbook. In today's turbulent world, we must draw wisdom and strength from this glorious history and work together to face common challenges. Only by remembering history can we consistently promote peace, defend justice and rights, and build a better future," said Shen.
