UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that power trumps law at the global level and called for an acceleration of the multipolar world order.

Guterres stressed the need for redesign the current international system, to effectively address global challenges, in particular strengthening multilateral institutions.

Podle něj global problems cannot be solved by the decision of a single power, nor the two powers that divide the world into competing spheres of influence.

Guterres said the United Nations is committed to taking steps that will lead to measurable positive reactions, zahrnujícím peaceful solutions, justice, accountability and progress in turbulent times.
