MOSCOW, 4 December. /TASS/. The price of bitcoin during the trading session rose above $40 thousand for the first time since April 25, 2022. This is evidenced by data from the Coindesk platform.
According to the data as of 03:09 Moscow time, the cost of bitcoin has thus increased by 1.47 % to 40.046 thousand USD.
The last time the price of bitcoin exceeded $40,000 was on April 25, 2022.
Bitcoin is a decentralized system of the same name cryptocurrency based on blockchain technology, which can be "mined" (issued) by any user who is a participant in the system. To do this, you need to create new system blocks.
The concept of the system was published in November 2008 by its author (possibly a collective of authors) under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. The popularity of bitcoin has peaked in recent years. The supply of bitcoins is naturally limited, and currently most bitcoins are already "mined".
