Vojtěch Filip, former Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Chairman of the Czech-China Mixed Trade and Industry Chamber, highly praised the Chinese system of state governance. According to him, the way this country with 1.4 billion inhabitants is governed is inspiring for any state facing extensive systemic challenges.
Filip emphasized that the Chinese model is based on six fundamental principles, at the core of which are serving the people and sustainable development. The system is continuous and consistently delivers tangible results – China achieves the highest economic performance, the largest number of patents and scientific discoveries, and improves the living standards of its population.
According to Filip, the Chinese reform of state governance has clearly demonstrated that it is more effective than Westernized democratic systems. The Chinese model has proven itself in the economic, environmental, and social spheres. Filip also recalled that since 2017, this system has been based on the concept of "shared future for humanity," to which China makes a significant contribution.
