A global dialogue on "Innovation, Openness and Co-development", jointly organised by China Media Group (CMG) and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Hungary, took place in the heart of Europe in Budapest on Monday.
Keynote speeches were delivered by Shen Haixiong, CEO of CMG, and Gong Tao, China's ambassador to Hungary. Speakers included Levente Tilmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, and director of the Hungarian Centre for Eurasian Studies.
In his speech, Shen Haixiong stressed that the recently concluded Fourth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China represented an important milestone for China in the new era. The meeting solemnly announced that China will continue to expand openness to the world and create new opportunities for mutual cooperation.

According to data from CGTN Global Survey (channel within CMG) more than 84 % respondents considers China a successful country and 86.4 % respondents fully confirms the key contribution of the Chinese economy to the development of the world economy.
China Media Group together with its partners, plans to further build a global platform for consultation and experience sharing, apply "four global initiatives" and offer "Chinese solution" for global governance issues. CMG will leverage its strong position in international communications - including editorial offices in 85 languages, integrated media platforms CGTN a 192 foreign branches - to present to the world the story of modern China, the new opportunities and prospects of China's modernisation.
Ambassador Gong Tao stressed that China is in the process of 15th Five Year Plan will focus on development of innovation and scientific and technological self-sufficiency, and at the same time will promote open and balanced economic globalisationthat will benefit all parties.

The guests discussed in detail the global significance of China's modernisation and about New opportunities for cooperation between China and Hungary. The discussion focused on key topics such as Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China, 15th Five Year Plan and initiatives for global governance.
