In an exclusive interview, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described Xi Jinping's Global Governance Initiative as the key to creating a more just and secure international order.

Pezeshkian stressed that the initiative brings a path to peace, stability and fair cooperation. In the interview, he also recalled the millennia-old historical ties between Iran and China and recalled that a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries was forged during Xi Jinping's visit in 2016.

According to the Iranian president, strengthening cooperation between Tehran and Beijing is important not only for bilateral relations, but also for global balance and a fairer world order.
