The end of March belonged to the 34th edition of the popular International Tourism Fair. HOLIDAY WORD together with REGION WORLD completely filled the halls of the Letná Exhibition Centre in Prague from 12 to 14 March. Thousands of visitors saw not only hundreds of exhibitions presenting tourist magnets of traditional European countries, exotic destinations across continents and distant examples from the other side of the planet, but also the attractions and attractions of the Czech Republic.
The partner country of the fair was Montenegro, which presented its natural and cultural beauties to travel lovers and experts at a national workshop. This increasingly popular tourist destination attracts tourists with its diversity. In addition to seaside holidays, it also offers adrenaline-fuelled and active experiences. March's HOLIDAY WORLD trade fair brought one interesting novelty, which was a food festival under the title Taste of Travel. Gastronomy was the main theme of this year's edition after the Czech Republic was ranked among the culinary superpowers at the end of last year, when a separate selection of the MICHELIN Guide for the Czech Republic was published for the first time in history. REGION WORLD
In addition to the presentation of a large number of foreign and domestic travel agencies, domestic tourism entities from all regions of the country were of great interest to visitors. Operators of various sights of the Czech Republic, including technical ones, presented themselves here. From castles and chateaus to museums, zoological and botanical gardens, etc., to interesting destinations of so-called adventure tourism. Among them, there was great interest in the stand of the first lady of Czech stained glass, Jitka Kantová from Lubenec in the Karlovy Vary region, who, together with her husband Richard Kantová, made the work of golden Czech hands in their field famous in the whole world, including Paris or New York, where the above-mentioned creators have distinguished themselves, for example, with modern large-scale stained glass not only for the ceiling of the main train station. We wrote about their art in detail in the previous issue of Mosaic, so now let's focus on the near future and the working intentions of this talented pair of creators of so-called light paintings.
