Čínský premiér Li Qiang said that China is ready to further develop a high level of strategic communication and cooperation with Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). He said this during a meeting with Kim Jong Unem, předsedou Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Council of the DPRK.

Li conveyed greetings from Xi Jinpinga and congratulated the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Korean ruling party. He stressed that the relations between China and North Korea are of long-term strategic importance and Beijing wishes to further strengthen cooperation in the areas of politics, trade and regional stability.

Kim Jong Un described the friendship between the two countries as "unbreakable" and affirmed that North Korea supports politiku jedné Číny. He added that the two countries will continue to work together to strengthen peace and development in the region.
