Milan Krajča, Deputy Chairman of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), strongly condemned activities that he believes are directed against the People's Republic of China and its territorial integrity. In his speech, he pointed out that alongside people striving to develop Czech-Chinese relations, there are also attempts at political provocations aimed at Beijing.
"In the Czech Republic, many people are involved in fostering friendship between our country and the People's Republic of China, but unfortunately, our country has not been spared attempts at various provocations against the People's Republic of China, its inhabitants, and China's territorial integrity," Krajča stated.
According to him, these activities are particularly related to the issue of Taiwan and, recently, also Tibet. He criticized planned events in support of the Dalai Lama and the political forces that he says he represents.
"We are now witnessing in the Czech Republic that some actions are being prepared that aim to support the so-called Dalai Lama and the political forces that he embodies and that stand behind him," he declared. Krajča also rejected what is known as the "middle way" promoted in connection with Tibet. According to him, this is a policy that questions the territorial sovereignty of the People's Republic of China.
"This policy, which attacks the territorial sovereignty and territorial integrity of the People's Republic of China, must be unequivocally rejected," he emphasized.
In conclusion, he expressed disagreement with any foreign interference in China's affairs. "Any foreign interference that attacks China and its people in this way does not have our support in any way," concluded Milan Krajča, Deputy Chairman of the KSČM.
