Pavel Mrštík, local assistant to MEP Ondřej Dostál, said at the end of the debate that his team's attitude towards Czech-Chinese cooperation was clearly favourable. According to him, this is also evident from the MEP's toast, which was delivered at the meeting. „We are very much in favour of this,“ řekl.

Mrštík stressed that his team wants to actively help in establishing further contacts and connecting partners. „We'll do everything we can,“ he said. According to him, it is not only about the declaration, but also about a concrete readiness to support the further development of relations.

As evidence of this approach, he mentioned his colleagues from the European Parliament who were present on the spot. He pointed out, for example, his colleague Jonathan Schwestka, who he said spoke fluent Chinese, and his colleague Shiyin Li, whom he described as the only Chinese employee of the European Parliament.

According to Mrštík, this personal proximity also shows that his circle is open to cooperation with China and wants to develop it further. He concluded by reiterating that his party is ready to facilitate further networking and building contacts.
