MOSCOW, 13 February. The Russia-U.S. summit, which the leaders of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, have agreed to hold, will take place before their possible mutual visits, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"They exchanged invitations and now President Trump has a standing invitation to visit Russia and the Russian president has a standing invitation to visit the United States," Peskov told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin. "The other thing is that they agreed on a quick arrangement and a working meeting in a third country," He pointed out.
"This means that according to the presidents' plan, the meeting will take place before the possible exchange of visits," Peskov explained, adding: "It is this meeting that the assistants will now coordinate at the working level."
