PARIS - French President Emmanuel Macron, reacting to his party's clear defeat in the European elections, has announced that he is dissolving the National Assembly and calling new elections for June/July. Macron described the rise of the far right, which won the elections by a wide margin according to early estimates, as a danger for France.
