President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel and his wife, Eva Pavlová, visited Austria on July 25th and 26th, at the personal invitation of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen. Together with the Austrian presidential couple, they attended the opening ceremony of the Salzburg Festival, including the evening premiere of Richard Strauss's opera "Capriccio," performed by the Vienna Philharmonic. The visit also included a private dinner for both presidential couples, a meeting with the governor of the state of Salzburg, the mayor of Salzburg, and a walk through the Mirabell Gardens.
