ATHENS - On Thursday evening, the Popular Unity of Greece organised a public event in support of Venezuela in front of the Greek Parliament, attended by dozens of supporters of the initiative. Constaninos Isichos, as the main representative of Popular Unity in Greece, has made clear his firm stance against foreign interference in Venezuelan politics and has criticised the violation of the country's sovereignty, including its attempts to acquire strategic resources. The participants in the event categorically rejected any foreign intervention and stressed that Venezuela has the right to make independent decisions about its economy and political development. „We will continue to protest and put political pressure on the US and its actions,“ Isichos said, while appealing to the international community to respect Venezuela's right to its own path of development. The event concluded with a call for unity and solidarity with the Venezuelan people.
