On Monday, the documentary film "The Heritage Guardian" premiered in Beijing, broadcast to major media outlets in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states.

The program, produced by China Media Group (CMG), will be broadcast on major media outlets in SCO countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Iran, and Belarus.

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, sent congratulatory messages regarding the broadcast of the program.

"The Heritage Guardian" features compelling stories that reflect the deep interest of Chinese President Xi Jinping in preserving and developing culture.

The program explains to an international audience the essence of Xi Jinping's thinking on culture and the strong cultural foundation that supports his philosophy of governance.

At the event, Shen Haixiong, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of CMG, called for joint efforts to create new momentum in building global consensus and deepening exchanges and cooperation.

The Secretary-General of the SCO, Nurlan Yermekbayev, stated that the broadcast of the program will help people in SCO countries appreciate the charm of Chinese culture and further strengthen mutual friendship.
