MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. The Ninth Eastern Economic Forum will be held from September 3 to 6, 2024, in Vladivostok, on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University, according to a statement on the website of the Roscongress Foundation.

"From September 3 to 6, 2024, the IX Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok, on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. This forum has become a leading platform for discussing issues related to the accelerated development of the economy of the Far East and the expansion of international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation," the statement reads.

Yuri Trutnev, the Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the forum and emphasized that the Eastern Economic Forum has become one of the key tools for the development of the region. "I am convinced that the EEF 2024 will, as always, be held at a high organizational level, will strengthen the position of the Far East in the system of economic relations in the Asia-Pacific region, and most importantly, will help to find answers to questions and implement the instructions of the President of Russia regarding the socio-economic development of the region's infrastructure," Trutnev said, according to the message.

The VIII Eastern Economic Forum took place in Vladivostok from September 10 to 13, 2023. Its motto was "Towards Cooperation, Peace, and Prosperity." The event was also organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
