According to Josef Skála, chairman of the Institute of the Czech Left, the Jeffrey Epstein case reveals not only the extensive sexual offences of the world's elite, but above all the deep moral failure and hypocrisy of Western political and economic leaders.

Skála recalls that Epstein, who allegedly committed suicide in 2019, organized stays on a private island for his influential friends among politicians, businessmen and royalty, where underage girls, often under the age of 15, were delivered to him. „A few years ago, I would never have dreamed that something like this was happening at the very pinnacle of power in Western countries,“ uvedl Skála.

He recalls that the affair affects the British royal family, both American political camps and many other elite circles. According to Skala, it is cynical that the very people who are constantly moralising and lecturing others on how to behave have themselves engaged in these perverse practices. He also mentions unverified information about Volodymyr Zelensky's possible connection to the alleged supply of Ukrainian girls.

„A fair-minded person can make up his own mind. And I can't forgive the remark: Has anyone ever heard of similar scandals in the capitals of countries that the West endlessly demonizes and labels as evil? I haven't. And it's certainly not because the intelligence services there are more vigilant - the American ones are slumbering, too, after all.“ uzavírá Skála.
