Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with Sardor Umurzakov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development, in Beijing on March 26th.

Wang Huning, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China (CPC), stated that China is willing to cooperate with Uzbekistan to jointly promote the consensus reached by the two heads of state and to firmly support each other in their modernization efforts.

China is willing to cooperate with Uzbekistan to strengthen the alignment of their development strategies, enhance inter-party exchanges, and jointly safeguard global and regional peace and stability, he said, adding that the National Committee of the CPPCC will contribute positively to this effort.

Sardor Umurzakov stated that Uzbekistan adheres to the principle of "One China" and supports China's major initiatives. He added that the implementation of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) presents new opportunities for bilateral cooperation, and that Uzbekistan is willing to learn from the experience of the CPC, noting that the leadership of the CPC is key to China's success.
