Roman Blaško, Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, praised the development of the People's Liberation Army of China and its role in the areas of security, international cooperation, and humanitarian aid.
In his statement, he recalled that the Chinese army is celebrating its 99th anniversary this year and that, according to him, it has undergone significant technological and organizational development during its existence.
"Everyone sees the dynamic development of the Chinese army – whether in the field of space exploration, aviation industry, or naval forces," said Roman Blaško. He also pointed out the modernization of the Chinese armed forces, including the development of hypersonic technologies and strategic weapons.
In addition to military capabilities, he also emphasized the humanitarian dimension of the Chinese army's activities. He recalled in particular the work of the hospital ship, which, according to him, has provided medical assistance in dozens of countries and helped hundreds of thousands of people.
Roman Blaško also stated that the People's Liberation Army of China participates in international peacekeeping missions. He mentioned its operations in Lebanon, South Sudan, and other areas.
According to the Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, the People's Republic of China is aware of the importance of stability and development. "If it wants to maintain peace and harmony, it does so through preparedness, determination, and a high level of technology," he said.
Blaško emphasized that, in his opinion, the development of the Chinese armed forces serves not only to protect the sovereignty of the country but also to promote the principles that China declares – stability, harmony, peace, humanity, and humanism.
In conclusion, he wished the People's Liberation Army many successes in its further development on the occasion of its anniversary. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the emphasis on peaceful cooperation and stability should be an inspiration for other countries, which, according to him, contribute to disrupting international balance.
