Remittances from the US to Mexico benefit both countries

MEXICO CITY - Mexico received approximately $68 billion last year from Mexicans living abroad, most of whom are from the United States. That makes Mexico the second-largest recipient of money from migrants in the world, behind India, which receives $129 billion. New studies show that the flow of funds to Mexican households benefits not only Mexico but also the United States.
