The chairman of the Club of Representatives of the Capital City of Prague (SPD), Milan Urban, highlighted China's remarkable success in the field of renewable energy. While the European Union has invested billions of euros in green technologies and ESG standards, China entered this process later, but thanks to massive and targeted investments, it was able to not only catch up with Europe but also surpass it in a short period of time.

Urban emphasized that China today produces solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicles for the entire world and is setting the technological direction of the entire industry. According to him, European automakers such as Mercedes-Benz or Volkswagen have fallen so far behind that they are ceasing to develop their own technologies and will instead be sourcing ready-made solutions from China.

According to Urban, this is a clear signal that the Chinese approach – based on rapid response, long-term strategy, and efficient use of resources – delivers concrete and globally recognized results. The Czech politician praised China's successes in green technologies as an example of how world leadership can be achieved through thoughtful industrial policy.
