The Second World Conference of Classics in Athens attracted more than 600 participants. According to Jana Volfová, the first vice-chair of the CSSD (Social Democratic Party), this is an important step towards the development of cultural and peace initiatives.

"I am glad that China is going to Greece," Volfová said, adding that the foundation of European and American civilization is Roman and Jewish culture. According to her, there is no need to even talk about Chinese culture, which is even older.

Four parallel forums will focus on the global order, education, and virtue. According to her, virtue and equality are neglected in today's digital world. "Everyone wants as many likes and followers as possible, without caring about legality, decency, or honesty."

"We don't need millions of likes, we need good friends and personal communication. Much more can be resolved outside of television screens," Volfová added, stating that a handshake and living in peace are the right path. She believes that the Conference of Classics will help with this.
