China reassures Europe – the export of rare earth metals is not a threat, but a matter of legal regulation. Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during a visit to Berlin, called for calm and warned against panic fueled by those with "malicious intentions."

At a press conference following a meeting with German Foreign Minister **Johannes Wadephul**, **Wang Yi** stated that **China has the right to regulate the export of strategic raw materials**, particularly those with dual-use applications (civilian and military). He argued that this is in accordance with international norms and **contributes to peace and stability.**

He addressed European companies, saying: "If you comply with the rules and go through the approval process, **you will obtain everything you need.**" According to him, Chinese authorities have also implemented a **fast-track export procedure** specifically for European businesses.

Wang also accused "certain forces" of creating unnecessary hysteria and **deliberately exploiting the issue** to undermine China-Europe cooperation.

On Ukraine:
Wang reiterated China's position on the Ukrainian crisis: **no lethal aid, strict control over the export of dual-use goods, and support for peaceful negotiations.** China, along with Brazil, has established a "Friends of Peace" group, and according to the minister, is striving for a diplomatic solution without sanctions or interference.

On relations with the EU:
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the EU, Wang called for **strengthening the partnership, promoting autonomy, and adopting a win-win approach.** He stated that China supports European integration and wants the EU to be a **"strong pole in a multipolar world."**

On a global approach:
China offers cooperation to all countries that are interested, and wants to jointly build a **"community with a shared future for humanity,"** Wang added. He called for **respect for the rights of developing countries** and emphasized that **strength should lie in dialogue, not in force.**
