On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), which falls on Wednesday, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, called on the entire Party to draw strength from its history and, at the same time, continue to advance on a new path of Chinese modernization.
In his speech at a gathering to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, Xi Jinping, who is also the President of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, reviewed the Party's achievements, explained the sources of its enduring vitality, and outlined priorities for fulfilling its missions in a new era.

All members of the CPC should remain firm in their beliefs and move forward with persistent efforts to fulfill the Party's mission in a new era and on a new path, Xi Jinping said.
The entire Party must adhere to the Party's basic theory, basic line, and basic policy, and always rely on the people in creating great historical achievements, Xi Jinping emphasized.
