On September 24th, President Xi Jinping visited a special exhibition in Urumqi commemorating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. He emphasized that the region's development is a testament to the success of the system of national autonomy and the Party's strategy for governing Xinjiang. According to him, this strategy has proven to be scientific and effective, and it is necessary to consistently implement it, taking into account new conditions.

The exhibition, held at the Cultural Exhibition Center, is divided into three sections: "A New Day in Harmony of All Nationalities," "Development Visions Under the Tian Shan Mountains," and "Beautiful Xinjiang Creates Glory." It showcases the historical and contemporary development of the region, including efforts to combat poverty, economic achievements, and the strengthening of a sense of national unity.

Xi Jinping viewed the exhibits, inquired about the details, and praised the work of the exhibition creators. He stated that the exhibition radiates positive energy and inspires unity and collective effort. He emphasized the need to present the contrast between the past and the present, so that visitors can better understand the progress of the region and strengthen their awareness of the shared Chinese community.
