On February 13, China Media Group (CMG) held a special event in New York, right at the United Nations Headquarters, entitled „Prelude to the CMG Spring Festival Gala: The Whole World Watches the CMG Gala.“.
The event featured video streams Shen Haixiong, Deputy Head of the PR Department of the CP China Central Committee and Director General of CMG, and Melissa Fleming, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications.
The event was attended by approximately 300 guests, including ambassadors of several Member States to the UN, representatives of UN agencies, and prominent figures from China and the United States in the fields of culture, economics and media. The meeting offered a space for cultural exchange and sharing the atmosphere of the upcoming Spring Festival.
