Tropics and China? What nonsense is this, many readers will say. But let's not be mistaken. Sanya, located on the island of Hainan, belonging to the People's Republic of China, is the only tropical enclave and seaside tourist town in China. Its beauty and comfortable recreational offer were presented in Prague in the end of March at a presentation meeting with Czech journalists and selected Travel Agencies by Chinese partners from the Hainan delegation. The general public was then introduced to the possibility of recreation in the new destination, hitherto unknown to the Czechs, at the 34th International Travel Fair HOLYDAY WORD in Prague Letňany a few days later.
Sanya introduces tourism programmes for Europe
As we have already indicated, the Chinese tropical resort of Sanya on the island of Hainan held a presentation meeting for representatives of the tourism sector and the media on 5 March in Prague. It presented new tourist packages and incentive programmes for partners, which are linked to the Sanya - Prague air link. The aim is to strengthen tourism between Europe and southern China and to link the direct air link with specific tourism products. A key partner for the Czech market is the travel agency Join UP!, which has long offered the Hainan Island destination to European clients and provides flights to Sanya along with complete holiday packages.
During the visit to Prague, the Hainanese delegation also visited the Prague headquarters of Join UP!, where negotiations were held on the possibilities of further expanding cooperation and supporting the sales of this unique Far Eastern destination on the Czech market.
Extraordinary exotic holiday
CK Join UP! is also preparing an info tour for selected representatives of travel agencies during March, who will have the opportunity to get to know the tourist infrastructure, wild nature and white beaches of Hainan Island, its cultural heritage and its hypermodern present. Through personal experience, they will be able to present their clients with a complete picture of an exotic holiday in one of Asia's most exciting destinations. The new strategy also includes an „Invite-in“ initiative focused on Central and Eastern European countries. A study tour for selected travel agents, journalists and influencers from the region will take place at the end of May.
During the visit, participants will discover the wide range of local tourism offerings, from hotels and tourist attractions to health and wellness services and duty-free shopping.
„With the duty-free port policy and the introduction of the so-called seventh freedom of the air, Sanya is building a market development strategy based on linking airlines and tourism products. Our goal is to make it easy for visitors from all over the world to come to Sanya, stay comfortably, enjoy the local offer to the fullest and want to come back,“ said a representative of the Sanya City Tourist Board at a meeting with Czech media and travel agents in Prague.
Finally, Sanya located on Hainan Island
As mentioned above, Sanya, located on Hainan Island, is the only tropical seaside tourist city in China. It offers its guests and holidaymakers first-class five-star hotels with all the services demanded by even the most demanding clients in both service and gastronomy, both local and global. The beaches are comfortably equipped, including a variety of entertainment and sightseeing programs attracting all-day sunshine and pleasantly warmed sea, with the possibility of diving and various excursions, including boat trips. The resort is known for its friendly attitude towards tourists and ensures their complete safety.
The Sanya Tourism Board has long been working to promote Sanya as an internationally important holiday destination and to develop it as a world-class tourist centre.
